Our last 1.5 days on the island: A sunrise trip to Bica da Cana, a viewpoint in the middle of the island and the very popular and beautiful levada walk Caldeirao Verde that ends at a high waterfall. I dove it with my cinelog and it went straight onto the rocks and the pool and I have neither footage nor an explanation. The drone has a broken frame and motor, the camera a broken body and screen but still works. So it's me going into the water after some helpful Frenchmen told me where it is. Next - and last - day we again visit the Cascada das Anjos but are forbidden by rather grim policemen to even walk to the cliff door. So it's flying there along the coast. A last trip takes us to Bica da Cana again and a pretty cool levada walk close to it that I see from the drone. The first couple of clouds show themselves...


Unsere letzten 1,5 Tage auf der Insel: Ein Sonnenauftrag bei Bica da Cana, einem Aussichtspunkt mitten auf der Insel und der sehr beliebte, aber auch sehr schöne Levada Weg Caldeirao Verde, der an einem hohen Wasserfall endet. Hier bin ich mit der Cinelog ohne erkennbaren Grund und unter Verlust sämtlicher Aufnahmen auf die Felsen und dann ins Wasser "gedived". Frame und ein Motor kaputt, Kamera funktioniert, hat aber einen gebrochenen Schirm und Gehäuse. Also bin in ins Wasser, nachdem mir ein paar hilfreiche Franzosen die Stelle gezeigt haben. Am nächsten und letzten Tag haben wir den Cascada das Anjos Wasserfall nochmal besucht, durften aber nicht mal zu Fuß zum Felsentor, so dass ich nur in die Richtung geflogen bin. Der letzte Weg führte uns nochmal zu Bica da Cana und einem ziemlich coolen Levadaweg in der Nähe, den ich aber nur mit der Drohne aufgenommen habe. Erste kleine Wolken sind zu sehen...
