Production and test Manifolds are used to control which well fluids are sent into the separators. Valves in these manifolds are subjected to high working pressures and severe conditions and can get prematurely damaged if the wrong valve type is selected. Also the use of Double Block & Bleed valves allows safe maintenance on flowlines and other components. Twin Isolation Plug valves are selected in this application, as on top of long lasting, zero leakage sealing, they are the lightest and most compact DB&B solution available. They can also be used to replace single valves as they have the same face to face.
