This is the Multipurpose Delivery Vehicle from Canoo. Canoo is a company that is developing breakthrough electric vehicles. The MPDV is purposefully designed to maximize return on investment for its customers. It is based on Canoo’s proprietary electric platform and will be offered in two initial size variants, with others to follow. It was built specifically with the needs of small businesses and large last-mile delivery companies in mind. The design of the model paired with the best-in-class total cost of ownership also makes it a great option for independent contractors, utilities, service technicians, and many more. Regardless of the model, the drive unit comes with One permanent magnet synchronous electric motor providing up to 200 horsepower. The MPDV-1 will feature a 230 cubic-feet cargo volume and a 130-to-230-mile range. On the other hand, the MPDV-2 will feature a 450 cubic-feet cargo volume while having a 90-to-190-mile range. The range depends upon the different types of batteries equipped. The vehicle will also be equipped with Level 2.5 autonomous navigation systems. Another impressive feature of the MPDV is that it can become a portable power-plant for powering service tools and equipment. With its eco-friendly electric operation and multipurpose design, the Canoo MPDV is sure to become the new norm in last-minute delivery and service transport systems.
