CHEAPEST INTERNATIONAL TRIP | KUALA LUMPUR TO MEDAN | LAKE TOBA SAMOSIR ISLAND | $100 ALL-IN???

This video is about my cheapest international trip from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to Medan Indonesia.

It was in 2017 and definitely one of my cheapest international trips ever in my lifetime! The journey was from Kuala Lumpur to Medan. I used Airasia for flight.

To maximise my money on the flight, I redeemed my Airasia big points. So, if you are intending to go to lake Toba or Medan, Airasia Kuala Lumpur to Medan route might be worth considering and you could try to redeem your points too! Indonesia is very cheap and Medan is considered very cheap for me. Definitely Medan is one of the cheap asia trips you must do!

If you know of other cheap backpacking trips Asia, do let me know, would love to know more! Am looking for more cheap trips to Southeast asia in the future, to save money and spend less! That would allow me to travel longer for cheaper.

One of the must gos when in Medan is the Samosir Island! Samosir Island, Lake Toba is an island kinda of which is still connected by land at some point at the lake toba. Open up your google maps and you will see it! There are a lot of christians staying there! Fun fact: it is also known as Tuk Tuk Samosir Island!

After 2 days spent near Lake Toba Medan indonesia, I took the Airasia route Medan to Kuala Lumpur to go back home. That time, KL was my home!
