One person has been taken to hospital after fire crews tackled a “well alight” blaze at a restaurant in Aberdeen city centre.
Emergency services attended the scene at Vovem Restaurant on Union Street in the city centre after 11.55am on Thursday.
Summer Street, Union Wynd and Little Chapel Street have been closed with the public urged to avoid the area.
Firefighters found the building “well alight” and the Scottish Ambulance Service took one patient to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
