Dan Scheeres is a distinguished professor in Smead Aerospace Engineering Sciences. He is also the A. Richard Seebass Chair of the Colorado Center for Astrodynamics Research (CCAR). His research focuses in astrodynamics and satellite navigation and he was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2017.
