Do you wonder about lattice structures and what happens to their Poisson Ratios? Can you calculate those? This video will show you how to numerically determine the Poisson Rations of 3D Lattice structures. This is important because the Poisson Ratio of lattices is often different from those of the bulk material, due mainly from the prevalence of empty spaces within the lattice which changes the expected (bulk) deformation behaviour.
