How to make studs and conchos for dog collars belts and more. This video goes over some basic techniques on making some cool pieces for your belts, collars, wallets and so much more.
Taking either brass, stainless steel or copper and forming the shapes that are desired then adding layers with different metal types.
Doming the concho or stud then adds better shape and contour and by adding additional layers of metal it creates a multi-dimensional piece that looks great.
Using a torch then sets the metal together, then when cooled can be attached to whatever material you decide.
This technique is used on many of my dog collars, it adds originality and uniqueness to every piece.
