The Royal tank regiment loco at NVR heritage line Peterborough end
45041 was built at Crewe Works in 1962 and was released into traffic on 25th June, 1962 and based at Derby.

26 Class 45s were officially named by BR after various British Army regiments and the Royal Marines. Additionally, several were unofficially named.
