Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2
Design & Specifications Featuring a design that is seemingly a hybrid between the Galaxy S II and S III phones, the Samsung Galaxy Duos 2 is 121.5 x 63.1 x 10.6 mm in size and weights just below 120 grams.
Although the smartphone is far from breathtaking when it comes to specifications, the Dual Core 1.2GHz processor is pretty decent when it comes to app compatibility.
Display & Sound The capacitive TFT touchscreen is not as good as the one featured on the Galaxy S III, but it seems to be pretty decent when it comes to color density and brightness.
The 223 ppi pixel density on the 4-inch 480×800 pixel display make the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 a better choice than the S II, even if we exclude the Dual SIM capability of the smartphone.
Battery Life When it comes to a battery life, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 does surprisingly well having in mind the poor Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery featured on the device.
Giving you an overall talk time of up to 8 Hours in a 3G network and 280 hours in standby mode, the battery life of the device is quite decent, but it is still problematic at times, as extensive use of the device may drain the battery for less than 3 hours.
Camera The Camera of the device is 5 MP with 2592 x 1944 pixel picture capabilities.
Letting you capture videos at 720p and 30 FPS, the phone camera is decent enough for anyone who uses the camera on their phone to share their life moments through social networks.
The front camera is VGA and doesn’t stand out as much when it comes to quality, but gives the Samsung Galaxy S Duos II video conferencing capabilities.
Overall Perfect for people with contracts to multiple mobile networks, because of it’s selling point being the Dual SIM capability, the smart device is a perfect blend between the Galaxy S II and S III models offered by Samsung.
Although, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos II may not the perfect choice for people who plan on using the phone for extensive browsing, movie playback or games, it is nonetheless perfect for its price.
