Louisville man arrested after chaining a woman in captivity for 2 days: Louisville Metro Police
On August 16, a man in Louisville was arrested for chaining a woman to the floor for two days. The Louisville Metro Police Department responded to a distress call at a two-story house where they found the woman chained to the floor by her neck and the first floor barricaded. Bodycam footage captured the rescue operation as officers removed the chains. The victim, who had been trapped after a physical altercation, was treated by emergency services. The suspect, 36-year-old Moises May, was identified and arrested two days later. He faces charges including kidnapping, intimidation, endangerment, assault, and threats. May, who pleaded not guilty, is being held on $100,000 bond and is due in court on August 28.
