BSP supremo Mayawati on Tuesday announced that her
party will contest the upcoming assembly bypolls in the state alone.Mayawati also expressed hope that if in future the situation is conducive the alliance with SP can be rekindled.The SP-BSP-RLD alliance was unsuccessful in thwarting the saffron surge in Uttar Pradesh after it managed to win only 15 of the 80 seats in the state during the Lok Sabha polls.
