Body Recomp (aka body recomposition) is losing fat while gaining muscle at the same time.
People who will see faster results with body recomp
1. If you’re new to the gym
2. If you have a lot of weight to lose
3. Detrained, coming back from injury
For everyone else - you can still recomp but visible results may take a lot longer as compared to have designated surplus vs cut phases.
The goal with your nutrition is to eat at maintenance so you have enough nutrients to build muscle. But you life/and movement is higher so overall you will still be in a calorie deficit.
