Timothy discusses with his audience the myriad academic qualifications that he has, from Electrical Engineering at MIT to Graduate Study in Ministry and Counselling and then his career experiences, that span from Silicon Valley to the Youth educational centre he co-founded. He moved on to share how, even he, who has counselled so many people on their emotional issues, found himself with same problems one day. He talks about how short term temptations can be disguised as our true desires and value. Timothy Lee obtained his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and studied communications and classical languages at the graduate level. He started as a computer systems engineer in the Silicon Valley and later on, decided to take on teaching as his lifelong career. In 2008, he cofounded CANA Elite, an education centre that mentors HK youth and adolescents in the STEM field. In the past years, CANA has won the HSBC Young Business Gold award as well as the HK Home Affairs Bureau’s Family-Friendly Employers award.
