Introducing #Chitgar_Lake
Chitgar Lake or Martyrs of the Persian Gulf was built in order to soften and reduce air pollution in the northwest of Tehran and includes various recreational and welfare facilities that are visited by many people daily due to its proximity to many places of interest in Tehran. The area of this lake reaches 130 hectares, and a recreational complex of 120 hectares has been built in its vicinity.
The initial idea of ​​Chitgar Lake dates back to 1347; From 1382 to 1389, it was carefully considered and investigated to be a source for improving the air condition of Tehran city and this region. Finally, the construction of Chitgarh artificial lake started in 2009 and was opened in May 2013.

If you don't use the recreational and non-free facilities of the complex, sightseeing in the area around the lake doesn't cost anything, and this issue itself is considered one of the advantages of this lake. Chitgar Lake is one of the most famous sightseeing places in the capital, which provides a lot of fun for visitors due to its amenities such as parking, toilets, food stalls, prayer hall (in the north of the lake), #musical_water feature, pavilion (in the west of the lake) and so on.

Where is Chitgar Lake?
Chitgar Lake is an artificial lake in the northwest of Tehran, which is located in the north of Chitgar Forest Park. This lake is bounded by the Hamdani (Hakim) highway from the south, Hemet highway from the north, #Azadegan highway from the east, and the residential context of the 22nd district of Tehran Municipality from the west.
