Farmers in Tamil Nadu's Trichy took out a protest on Monday by 'begging'and carrying skulls to draw attention to their demand for Cauvery water from Karnataka.
The protests were carried out under the umbrella of the National South Indian River Interlinking Agriculturist Association (Desiya Thenninthiya Nathigal Inaippu Vivasayigal Sangam).
Agitations also continues in various parts of Karnataka against the release of water to Tamil Nadu.
