The PDM60 is an electronic fusebox - which should come on and turn off with the ignition. If one of the circuits trips, it is disabled until the unit is powered down and then powered up - so should be zero maintenance. Since arriving in Australia, i've noticed that it's not powering down which will cause the connected accessories to drain the battery...
When i turn the ignition on, the first time after the battery has been disconnected, the PDM60 initialises correctly and my accessories work.
When i turn the ignition off, after 30 sections when you hear the GPS beep (signifying that the external power had been disconnected), the PDM60 has errors and does not switch off - even though the trigger (which is the GPS power feed) turns off. So eventually my battery will die due to the accessories (intercom, phone charger) not being isolated from the battery.
Timeline:
0:01 - Ignition turned on
0:08 - PDM60 turns on with 5 circuits working (as expected)
0:17 - Ignition turned off
1:17 - Trigger circuit which is the power feed for the GPS powers off. GPS beeps to notify that power has been disconnected. PDM60 goes into an error state with 4 red lights
Any ideas?
