More than a million Japanese have been advised to leave their homes as Typhoon Hagibis approaches Tokyo.
One of the strongest ever storms in Japan, Hagibis is expected to batter the capital with record amounts of rain and high winds.
Safety concerns have forced the cancellation of two Rugby World Cup matches and flights and train services stopped.
