War, foreign affairs, gender inequality, female subjugation, personal transcendence, religious persecution, social and economic disparities and the general suffering that is life are themes that, for better or worse, are constantly afloat in our subconscious. Le Mūs stands as a playful reminder that though we, as story tellers, are in a sense the “gate keepers” to such experiences, we mustn’t let the suffering of life defeat our collaborative human spirit. We must be on an ever present search for nuance and true purpose to not tell the stories that perpetuate the experience of suffering, but rather the ones that alleviate it”.~ Luis Alarcón
