About the film:
A film on wild herbs (villiyrtit). Chef Jouko Martikainen is nature food expert. He has been educating young chefs at Riveria vocational school in Joensuu (Finland) about culinary possibilities with wild herbs. This documentary film is made from one such study trip to Selkie village forest. Jouko guides students in identifying wild herbs, and later shows how to make delicious food from it.
