While Half-Life 2 has such a heavy story focus, I'd say Half-Life 1 is even more mysterious. There are so many questions to answer, and I just about never hear anyone talking about them. Factor in how much the waters have been muddied by Black Mesa, the fan made remake, and the questionably-canon Gearbox expansions, Decay, Blue Shift, and Opposing Force, and you've got a game who's story is pretty difficult to talk about, but today we're going to try to put all of the pieces together.
