Hi everyone

The wonderful people at Maton have given me my two most favourite instruments over the years. My trusty EGB808TE (which is WITHOUT A DOUBT the most flawless live amplified acoustic guitar I've ever played... If you want a guitar to plug through a PA that sounds like it's been mic'd in a studio - this is it. This thing is INCREDIBLE. It's got great attack, beautiful openness, balanced and sparkly top end, the mid range is full and throaty and tough, it has INCREDIBLE playability, a WIDE range of tones, and looks like a Victoria's Secret model... It has everything. It's one of the finest new guitars I've played yet.

IMPORTANT: If you're looking for a demo video where the guy shreds his arse off - this isn't it. When I want to hear how a guitar sounds, I'm never interested in watching someone show me how fast or incredible they are. I just want to hear SIMPLE things that let the guitar speak for itself. I want to be listening to the voice of the instrument, not the ego of the player! Besides - I can't do it anyway ;)

I'm no Robben Ford. I'm not an amazing player by anyone's standards, but I do love to use my guitar as my second voice, and hopefully after watching this you'll be inspired by the sound of this thing and go into a music store and try one for yourself. It really is a magical instrument. The neck is almost perfect and the hardware, trimming and finish are marked by incredible attention to detail.
