Beginning of January 2020, 3 arrows were repainted (removed some 10 years before). They are causing a major hazard as 1) when going ahead people use the left only lane, as it's safer to do when the other lanes are used for turning right on the major A2016 route 2) lanes on the roundabout are not wide enough for 3 vehicles because the island of the roundabout was enlarged years before making the usable road space much smaller.
3) the only cars that follow the arrows are learner drivers and that can be very hazardous when everyone else around doesn't bother.
Conclusion, paining those arrows was just a waste of paint and makes it problematic for residents as well as examiners from 2 driving test centers and all the people who come into this area to pass their driving tests.
Removing those arrows will be the safest option as rules for roundabouts are pretty clear in the highway code and we had no problems thus far.
