2025 Acura Integra Type S POV Review! In this video, we're going to take the Integra Type S for a spin on my favorite back road, talk about what it's like to drive it, test the acceleration, listen to the exhaust, and talk about the interior space.

The FL5 Type R offers everything I'm looking in my daily: fantastic engine, manual transmission, great suspension tuning, and practicality. While the Honda has all the core things that I want in a car, some features (that are not necessary, but are nice to have) are missing. And that’s where the Acura Integra Type S comes into play.

The Integra is more comfort-oriented with extra sound deadening materials and comes with more tech features: parking sensors, head-up display, rain-sensing wipers, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.

In terms of mechanical differences, the list isn’t super long —we get a softer suspension setup, modified exhaust, and a 5 horsepower bump (320 hp total). The torque remained the same at 310 lb-ft and the 6-speed manual transmission with a mechanical LSD also remains unchanged.

Obviously, as a luxury product, the Acura costs more - around 8 grand with the pricing starting at $52,600, compared to $44,800 for the Civic, and unlike the Honda which is made in Japan, the Integra is made here, in the U.S., at Honda’s factory in Ohio. There is also the Acura Integra A Spec available.

Other compact performance cars to consider are a Honda Civic Type R, Acura TLX Type S, Hyundai Elantra N, Subaru WRX, Toyota Corolla GR, Volkswagen Golf R, BMW M2, Toyota Supra, Audi S3, Lexus IS 350.
