Another intro mangled by the Morphagene, which is in turn modulated ten ways from Tuesday by the Pam’s. I remember when I made this sample, and it was long before I had ever encountered the MG. About time it got used then, eh?
Eagle-eyed viewers will have noted the new case, which was acquired via eBay and collected from Twickenham last week. It came without a power supply, but did come with two modules- Qu-Bit’s Nebulae v1 and a ‘knock-off’ Clouds. The Nebulae- not dissimilar to the MG in what it does- will need careful curating as it appears to input only from the usb stick visible in this video, but the Clouds is a seriously deep piece of gear. I shouldn’t really be snitty about the fact that it’s not a Mutable Instruments original- they stopped making them some years ago- as there are some very decent clones to be had, and this by all accounts is one of them. Real sonic mayhem potential, but not used here as the MG was quite mad enough already, thank you. One issue with the case is that it’s taller than the stand I had built for the Doepfer case, so now I have to build a new one of those, but it’s good to be able to have the ‘push-button’ modules on the desk- and safer too.
Like and subscribe, good people, spread the word and pass the biscuits. More sonic explorations to follow when I’ve finished the carpentry. Oh, and a cup of coffee to the first person to figure out what the intro used here is actually from…
Thanks for watching!
