This session aims to introduce the Energy Transition and key distinctions to help facilitate a common understanding whilst exploring what has compelled companies to act now. The speaker for this virtual event was Jamie Payne - a manager in Accenture’s UKI Energy Practice.
In this session Jamie talked about what the energy transition means, the current trends and challenges faced by the Upstream sector and the progress made so far by the leading supermajors.
About the Speaker:
Jamie Payne is a Manager with Accenture’s UKI Energy Practice. After graduating with an MEng in engineering, Jamie worked in EPCC, operations & supply chain roles in the O&G sector globally. His experience has seen him work across several resources clients from O&G majors, to Nuclear and renewables sectors primarily focused within production and operations. His project experience spans a variety of engagements and includes target operating models, digital strategy, optimise operations, process development, intelligent functions & emissions tracking as part of the energy transition.
