It's all about the occasion, they say.. Well, the wine helps, and this time it did rise to the occasion! Despite muted expectation, the Margaux performed like a champ considering the poor vintage. Not much fruit left, but plenty of umami, nice tannins, and a good acidity gave it surprising vigor. And the exercise was just fun :)
