Last Friday, 24 February 2017, the Sports Carnival was successfully organized at ISV. That is one of the annual activities of ISV that all of the teachers and students have been eager about and look forward to. All the students in the school are divided into 4 “houses” – Dragons, Unicorns, Phoenix and Tigers. They participated in many types of games from the morning till afternoon with enthusiasm, excitement and joy.
Through the games, the united, cooperative, supportive spirit is highly promoted to achieve the best results for the whole team. To gain the achievement, all of the students have gone through a period of hard work and practice under the enthusiastic instruction of the PE department and teachers with encouragement from both teachers and parents. In addition, the cheering from the students, teachers and parents for all of the teams contribute to their success after each game. The teams that performed well in the games were excited and happy. Others did not meet their own expectation and this will help build resiliency and increase their motivation for future performances.
Sports Carnival is a healthy and helpful activity for all ISV's students in both their physical and spiritual development.
