A French court has found John Galliano guilty of making anti-Semitic and racist slurs.
The fashion designer was fined about 8,000 dollars for two public outbursts, including a diatribe against Jews at a Paris caf? that was captured on videotape.
Galliano later apologized, and claimed his rants were fueled by drugs and alcohol. The incidents cost him his job as creative director at Dior and Galliano has since sought treatment for his addictions.
