Joseph Maada Mberegeni is from the small town of Soekmekaar in Limpopo, a town known for the tireless sun that beats harshly on the dwellers of the town.
From a young age, great responsibility was bestowed on Mberegeni when he had the ancestral calling to follow into the footsteps of his deceased great grandfather. Just like his grandfather, Mberegeni had the calling to become an African traditional healer.
