In an unprecedented decision, the Supreme Court Collegium headed by Chief Justice of India NV Ramana has recommended 68 names for appointment as judges in 12 high courts.
Among other high courts, the recommendations have also been made for Allahabad, Rajasthan and Calcutta, which are facing a severe crunch of judges.
