Using our Canon R7 cameras and the RF 100-500 f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM telephoto zoom lens, Heather and I returned to the location she found for birding. This was on April 16, 2023.
I have been using the Fv mode for a while but today I showed Heather how to use it. She tried it and likes it! I show you how to use Fv mode in this video. Fv or Flexible Value mode is a great way to control the R7 and other newer Canon cameras. It makes getting to the four settings you might need to change quick and easy with only two command dials. The four settings you can easily control using FV are Shutter Speed, Aperture, Exposure Compensation, and ISO.
We got photos of Common Yellowthroat, House Wren, White-eyed Vireo, Red-bellied Woodpecker, White-throated Sparrow, and Eastern Towhee!
