The Commissioner of Police accepts there is room for improvement in tackling corruption within the RGP but says it has never been swept under the carpet.
Speaking to GBC following an external audit by HM Inspectorate of Constabulary, Ian McGrail said the report needs to be considered in its context: the RGP asked for these areas for improvement to be assessed and its year-on-year numbers show it is providing a good service.
