The path to medical school is a long one, and one of the most common questions that I am asked is "Why medicine?"
In this video, I take you guys down my journey of deciding medicine was the career for me, and I discuss the significant points in life that set me up to get there. This includes: being raised in a single-parent household, an average high school & SAT experience, navigating education as a first-generation college student, an MCAT failure, gap years, but finally 10 medical school acceptances & a full tuition scholarship.
Major takeaway: Never give up on your goals!
