Recipe:
- Warm Water 50 ml
- Active instant yeast 3 g
- Oats milk 100 ml
- Sugar 30 g
- All purpose flour 300 g
- Cornflour 30 g
- Salt 3 g
- Vegan butter 30 g
- Olive oil 30 ml
Process: Mix the warm water with the active instant yeast, let it rest for 5 minutes. Put in the mixer bowl: flour, cornflour, salt, sugar, oats milk and vegan butter, mix it using a hook attachment. Add the mixture of water and active instant yeast. Mix it through for 14 minutes at medium speed. After that time add olive oil and mix it for 3 minutes. Take the dough out and add it into a bowl with a little bit of oil. Cover it and let it rise in a warm area for 2 hours. Weigh the dough and divide it into 6 equal portions. Give them a round shape. Turn on your waffle machine, add some oil using a brush. Add the waffle dough, sprinkle sugar on top and close the machine. Let them cook for roundabout 3 minutes at medium heat (in my machine number 3). Serve them warm. To accompany your waffles 🧇 add bananas, pears, strawberries 🍓 or any fruit that you like. For the caramel sauce: Add into a pan 75 g of sugar, let it melt on low heat until is nice and brown. Add 125 ml of warm oats milk, cook until you don’t have any lumps. Enjoy 😊.
