Introduction to a one Minute reflection for our lives today based in the Word of God, to help us grow in living the invitation of the Lord that “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbour as yourself.” Lk 10:27.
The friend of the bridegroom,
who stands and hears him,
rejoices greatly
at the bridegroom’s voice.
For this reason
my joy
has been fulfilled.
He must increase,
but I must decrease.”
John 3:29-30
O Father God,
the Baptist rejoiced
at the approach
of Jesus the Lord.
He abandoned himself
to your providence.
Help us also to surrender
today to your Holy Will.
With all the People of God
may we cry out together
“Marana tha”
Come Lord Jesus,
