When a man is rejected by someone he is attracted to, it can be a blow to his ego. Typical male reaction, such as becoming irate or making a greater effort to attract her attention, might be expected. The man with high values. He may be reticent and independent, and he doesn't always fall into the stereotypical alpha or beta man characteristics.
