Rep. Maxwell Frost, the first Gen Z member of Congress, joined President Biden to announce the creation of a federal office for gun violence prevention, which will be overseen by Vice President Kamala Harris. The office will help implement the president’s executive orders on gun violence, like the 2022 Safer Communities Act, and help coordinate support for survivors.
