Zero the Hero is a big strong fictional character that pumps up two zeros to hold the hundreds place so we can count to 100 and celebrate 100 days of school. Kids can follow Zero the Hero as he moves, dances and you count to 100 by 10's.
Zero the Hero is a big strong character in our video here, but Zero the Hero can be anyone at your school that helps children understand that when you count; zero is so important because you can't count past 9 without a zero to hold the tens place, or two zeros the hold the hundreds place, or three zeros to hold the thousands place.
