The South African Reserve Bank says it's committed to ensuring that people living with disabilities are empowered to participate independently in the economy. The bank's head of currency, Pearl Kgalegi led its upgraded currency campaign at the Siloe School for the Blind in Limpopo.
Officials demonstrated new features that can help the visually impaired differentiate between the various banknotes and coin denominations.
