In October 2020 George Knights, 19, of no fixed address, murdered 38-year-old Stephen Chapman at a private address in Rochester.
A day after the murder, a missing person's enquiry was launched. In this phone call, you hear one of our officers speaking with Knights - who is the last known person to have seen the victim alive.
He denied having knowledge of where the victim was. A day later, their body was found at an address Knights was staying at.
In June 2021, following a trial, he was found guilty of murder.
