The Pamlico Sound is a North Carolina Treasure! While its good fishing for many species, once a year for about 45 days the big drum enter the sound and spawn. By taking advantage of their feeding and spawning patterns, they can be caught with regularity using two techniques. These include soaking bait and popping corking. In this episode I am soaking bait, but from shore instead of by boat.
