After Ant and Dec left SMTV Live on December 1, 2001, the show's hit sitcom parody 'Chums' refused to die. Starring Cat Deeley and Louise Redknapp, the sketch limped on for another three weeks, and this 'era' of the show was ignored both by the recent reunion and the final episode of SMTV Live in 2003.
