Inferior Ramus of the Pubis
Insertion:
Proximal 1/3 of the Linea Aspera of the Femur
Functions:
1-Flexion of the Thigh @ the Hip Joint
2-Adduction of the Thigh @ the Hip Joint
3-Anterior Tilt of the Pelvis @ the Hip Joint
4-Medial Rotation of the Thigh @ the Hip Joint
Nerve:
The Obturator Nerve (L2, L3)
Activation: (Supine) Resist Adduction of the Hip (Knee Bent) (Figure 4)
Lengthening: (Supine) Abduction and Slight Extension of the Thigh
