Let's renovate a Buffalo, Kikuyu and TifTuf Lawn!
Learn the whole process of how to renovate 3 different lawn types! Adam takes us first around Railways and begins at the TifTuf lawn.
Adam uses the 14" Scott Bonnar Mower to start scalping the lawn whilst Clint Edges it up nicely. After that comes the rotary with a clean up mow clearing up all the debris. We then use the scarifier from Stihl removing the thatch and helping to level the surface. We then continue with the Lawn Corer which is designed to allow air into the root system. This process helps with watering and fertilising to promote rejuvenation. Finishing off we topdress with the Lawnhub Turf Mix, which is available for purchase at Railways.
Adam then progresses to the Buffalo which has been in good health since our previous video, we use the scarifier without mowing so we dont damage the plant, this also opens the canopy surface which allows nurtients, soil, water fertiliser etc into the soil profile and not sitting on top. After that we clean up any debris and progress with Coring and Top Dressing with Lawnhub Turf Mix.
Adam finishes off on the Kikuyu which begins again with a mow due to the tough nature of the lawn type and exposing high spots. After that we can easily begin a scarify without it bogging down and begin a debris clean up mow. We then once again Core the lawn and top dress with Lawnhub turf mix.
Finishing the process I take you through using BBW our Wetting agent to Trojan which is our Fertiliser. After that we apply a pre-emergent which prevents weeds from emerging. We finish off with Accelepryn which prevents grubs from appearing in your lawn.
