Scary Moments Driving Farm Semi-Truck: Part 2: 2021

In today's video, you will see Part 2 of Warning New Truck Driver, which was my last video. This is my first driving experience in our Montana farm semi-truck. Wow, there is a lot to learn and watch out for. My Dad helps me navigate our Freightliner semi-truck to the commercial grain elevator in Conrad, Montana. I am learning about turning the big rig and about the horsepower it has. I'm getting used to putting the clutch in even though it is an automatic. You will see me leave the grain elevator and head back to our Montana farm. I see a bit of traffic on the road. I have to make a lot of turns and merge onto the freeway. My eyes show some big expression as we roll down the road. The trip home is a bit different because our semi-truck trailer is now empty, as we unloaded all our wheat at the elevator. This is the best experience ever!!! Thank you Dad for taking the time to teach me about trucking and agriculture.

My Story…
Hello. My name is Kate Stephens, and I am a 16-year-old 4th generation farmer. My family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since my great grandfather immigrated from Denmark in 1912 and homesteaded our land. My family has been teaching me about farming since I was two years old. I run one of the combines on the farm at harvest. I believe that it is important for everyone to know where their food comes from and the families who produce it. I love our farm, and I hope that my Farm to Fashion and Farm to Table products can help educate people about where their food comes from in a fun way. That is how Kate's Ag became a reality. I hope you love my products as much as I do because this is an extension of our farm and the grains we have been growing to feed other families for over one hundred years.
