Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will spend Christmas Day in Darwin, which is commemorating the 50-year anniversary of Cyclone Tracy.
The Prime Minister reflected on the tragedy on Christmas Eve at a media conference.
“The devastation that was felt … still resonates today,” Mr Albanese said.
“This will be a difficult period.”
