This issue sees Mike and David audition one of Naim's nicest products in a long time – a special limited edition integrated amplifier made to commemorate the company's fiftieth anniversary.

The guys think it's a perfect and fitting tribute to the Salisbury company's contribution to the hi-fi world. No argument there, then! Although considerably more polished sounding than the original mid eighties NAIT 1, it still really captures the spirit of the eighties.

Each episode of Hi-Fi Riff features the guys' unedited, unexpurgated views about all manner of weird and wonderful hi-fi designs. Business executive Mike has a wealth of knowledge from previous hi-fi retail experience, and David has written about hi-fi for thirty years. Now Editor-in-Chief of StereoNET, he's picked up a few things along the way.
