The answer is Tengrism, which also happened to be the main belief system of the Mongols, Huns and all other steppe peoples of Ancient and Medieval times. But who was Tengri exactly? What about the other god-like beings like Erlik of the Underworld and Umay of Mother Earth? And was Tengrism perhaps more a philosophy of life?
