Day 4 of the Cheese-A-Day Challenge, this time Tasmanian Pepper Berry Cheese. Tasmannia lanceolata: The leaf and berry are used as a spice, typically dried. Tasmanian pepperberry was used as a colonial pepper substitute. More recently, it has become popularised as bushfood condiment. It can be added to curries, cheeses, and alcoholic beverages. It's a delicious cheese with peppery notes and a special subtle sweetness you would associate with Gouda.
